A third generation artist, Brett Mistak began his craft at an early age in his home town of Maryville, Tennessee. It continued through college, when while not playing offensive line with the Carson Newman Eagles, Brett received requests for his first commissioned work.
Working in oil, Brett has a passion for wildlife, but also enjoys portraits, still life and contemporary pop art.
His love of the Appalachian mountains, fly fishing and a strong history of artists and crafters, led to Brett's decision to open his gallery in The Peaceful Side of the Smokies - Townsend, Tennessee.

My support and inspiration. If you happen to see my wife Alison, son Wyatt and daughter Mazzy at the gallery, be sure to say hello and let them show you around.
